What’s your background?
My career before joining Atlas was leading mortgage businesses for Wells Fargo across several states in the West and Midwest.
Why did you choose to work with Atlas Real Estate Group?
Culture and Values. Atlas is forward-thinking, people-centric, community-focused, and abundance-minded. To be able to do good work, with good people, for good reasons every day is really important to me.
What is the greatest challenge you see in real estate and how do you work towards overcoming it?
I think mindset is a significant challenge. More recent research on fixed vs. growth mindsets is so compelling and as a leader, I want to always be in a growth mindset and helping our company and our industry do the same. In growth mindset, everyone can win!
What is at the top of your bucket list?
An extended stay with my family in Africa. We love to travel and spending a few weeks immersed somewhere is always such a powerful experience.
What is the greatest advice you’ve ever received?
I don’t know that I can land on the one thing here (reference to City Slickers for those of you old enough to remember!). I do think something my dad said to me on my wedding day has been consistently true – Much of life is about timing. It sounds simple, but it’s true across so many events, experiences, and expectations.
What recreational activities do you enjoy?
Being outdoors, hiking, camping, playing tennis
Where is your favorite place in Colorado?
Our cabin in Bailey is one of my favorite places in the world! Small, secluded, and surrounded by created beauty!
