Originally from Santa Barbara, California, Michael worked in information technology for more than a decade before moving to Colorado for the quality of life and the opportunistic real estate market.
Michael was first introduced to Atlas by attending the Real Estate Investment Hour Meetup groups. He knew right away that he had found his community. Within a year he had not only bought his first duplex in the Sloan’s Lake neighborhood but also joined the Atlas team as an advisor.
Michael now speaks at a monthly event on house hacking, called “Get in the Game! Low Down Payment Real Estate Investing”. He is passionate about helping people avoid a crisis facing millions of Americans; the inability to retire due to lack of savings. His mission is to help people down the path to financial freedom, by teaching them how to build long-term wealth with passive income streams.
Because he is personally in the beginning stages of his journey as a real estate investor, Michael has the unique ability to relate to the process and the sacrifice needed to get started. Reach out to discuss strategy and build a plan to reach your long-term goals. He is ready to help walk you through the process because he has not only been on the transaction side, but he’s been in your shoes as well.

What is your background?
My background is in Information Technology. For more than a decade, I helped clients build, expand, secure, and maintain data centers and corporate networks.
Why did you choose to work with Atlas Real Estate?
I first came to know Atlas as a client! My wife and I were new to Denver at the time and looking for a brokerage that catered to real estate investors. When I decided to pursue a career in real estate there was no other option for me.
What is the greatest challenge you see in real estate and how do you work towards overcoming it?
I think real estate investing can be seen as complicated, risky, or even unattainable. My goal is to show new investors that you don’t need millions of dollars in capital to get started and that real estate as an asset class carries the lowest risk and highest probability for generating wealth.
What is at the top of your bucket list?
Taking my family to live in another country for a year.
What is the greatest advice you’ve ever received?
Nobody cares, work harder.
What recreational activities do you enjoy?
Exploration, snowboarding, fitness, music
Where is your favorite place to visit?
Lost in the mountains somewhere with a good view and a beer
