We saw some interesting things in September including a rise in housing inventory despite typical seasonal decrease. In the Denver Metro market (including Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, Jefferson and Park counties), we also saw:

  • 2,795 total single-family homes sold; down 30.47 percent from last month
  • Average sold price in the single-family home market was $502,034 (down 3.79 percent from last month)
  • Median sold price in the single-family home market was $428,000 (down 2.73 percent from last month)
  • Average sold price in the condo market was $347,629 (up 0.83 percent from last month)
  • Median sold price in the condo market was $301,625 (up 1.73 percent from last month)
  • 8,807 active listings at the close of September, up 7.04 percent from the previous month
